Volunteer Tourism is a great way to “do something good” while also experiencing new places and challenges in locales otherwise not being met “Bite-sized” volunteer vacations may range from low-skill work cleaning up local wildlife areas to providing high-skill medical aid in a foreign country. It may include engage people with scientific research and education to promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment.
Sylhet Tourism is very happy to introduce volunteer tourism in Bangladesh primarily through Rotary Clubs, a worldwide humanitarian non profitable organization. However, it would be delighted facilitate volunteer tourism involving other organizations.

The Club successfully organized a Mega Health Camp on 16th May, 2014 at Atapur, Biswanath, a rural area 12 miles away from Sylhet town. More than 1,000 people were served by 17 doctors from different departments. Free medicines were also provided with.
